The park serves as a welcome getaway from the non-stop rush of city life, where you can go to unwind and admire the mature greenery while taking a leisurely stroll or relaxing on the grassy fields. The park is home to the Trinity Community Recreation Centre which features an indoor pool, gymnasium, and several community programs. There’s also a dog park, hockey rink, and farmers’ market that runs every Tuesday.
At 36 acres, Trinity Bellwoods Park is the largest park in the downtown core and serves as the setting for many community events. There is an annual pumpkin parade and a pumpkin toss every Halloween, as well as periodic movie nights held on the park fields, which attracts hundreds of neighbourhood residents in the warmer months.
Just west of the park you’ll find Artscape Youngplace, another defining landmark of this neighbourhood. Situated in a 100-year old building, this community space serves as the area’s cultural epicenter devoted to the cultivation of arts and education.

Trinity Bellwoods shares its northern border of College Street with Little Italy, where many delectable Mediterranean and multicultural foods are featured.
